These experiences led to low self esteem, anxiety and depression that affected her personal relationships and social interaction.Aaliyah was in supported accommodation with SYFS before referred to the SYFS Foyer Program, a service combining accommodation with education, training and employment supports. Staff provided support to build her confidence and to remain in school to complete her year 12. This included liaison with the School, homework support and emotional support around stress due to exams and assessments.
